Hi there! We're the co-owners of Bo Jacket, Aaron and Allie Thompson.

 

   We officially launched Bo Jacket in the summer of 2025. While we were living in a one bedroom apartment and Allie was still in school at Belmont. Aaron was touring full-time and wanted a cover for his pedalboard because of how rough some opening slots can be on the gear he used every show. 

 

   After years of personal use and compliments on the cover from other musicians, we decided to make it a real business! The name Bo Jacket came from 2 places: the abbreviation of Board Jacket and Bo is the name of our rescue dog, who is also featured in our logo.

 

  In the time between Aaron’s busy touring schedule and Allie’s freelance work in graphic design and marketing, we slowly built the business. All of our products are handmade in-house (literally in our dining room) and the design has been tested repeatedly by real touring musicians. We're constantly in conversation with musicians on the road, taking feedback and trying to provide the best product and service possible. With her background in engineering and garment construction, Allie creates each custom cover for the perfect fit, and Aaron helps with the sewing.
